Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a culinary role, preferably in banquet and ala carte settings
- Basic computer proficiency including Excel, Word and Publisher
- Ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance
- Strong communication and organizational capabilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Capacity to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to comply with health, safety and club policies
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen
- Eligibility for employment verification (E-Verify).

- Ability to lead and mentor a diverse culinary team
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and kitchen sanitation practices.
Job Duties
- Fully in charge of banquet department and ala carte in absence of Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef
- Monitor and correct improper behavior of staff
- Lead training on kitchen floor and delegate job assignments focused on training, team building and mentoring
- Assist Executive Chef/Executive Sous Chef in resolving kitchen issues
- Prepare food according to club recipes and standards emphasizing quality and proper cooking techniques
- Check all food items for quality and consistency
- Create daily prep list and supervise banquet, buffet and ala carte production
- Ensure proper stock of food items for daily operations
- Review banquet function orders and complete to-go orders and pop-up parties
- Interact with members during buffets and maintain high visibility
- Adhere to state and local health and safety regulations
- Ensure staff compliance with club rules and policies
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards to meet Fort Worth Department of Health requirements
- Assist in maintaining kitchen security and safety
- Prepare all items on Banquet Event Orders with emphasis on quality and presentation
- Oversee buffets and banquets, coordinating with culinary staff and Executive Sous Chef
- Ensure proper preparation and consistency of banquet and ala carte food items
- Notify Executive Chef of shortages or kitchen issues
- Direct ala carte restaurant and assist in daily kitchen operations
- Close buffets using usable products
- Clean and organize coolers and carts
- Supervise culinary, dish, and pastry staff
- Taste prepared products to ensure quality and club standards
- Create new menu items and foster innovation
- Assist with scheduling, ordering, and staff training
- Manage inventory and ordering with storeroom
- Understand culinary department budget and help meet targets
- Oversee quality and freshness of daily staff meal
- Conduct daily sanitation inspections
- Focus on product utilization and cost control
- Build photo catalog.
