Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • three plus years of culinary experience
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations

  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Oversees food production and presentation
  • prepares food to recipe specifications
  • works with team to cook all food to proper specifications in a timely manner
  • creates menu specials to utilize leftover product
  • takes lead on catering and in-house event prep
  • contributes to kitchen processes and procedures
  • complies with all food and safety sanitation laws and regulations
  • performs quality checks on ingredients and prepared dishes ensuring proper food temperatures and storage
  • keeps workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked
  • sets up and operates kitchen equipment
  • establishes and maintains work relationships, providing opportunities to develop skills
  • resolves operational issues with the Chef de Cuisine
  • performs opening, closing and side work duties as instructed
  • assists Chef de Cuisine with baking
  • maintains employee and prep checklists
  • performs other duties assigned
