Job Requirements

  • Availability for full-time work including some weekends
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years culinary experience preferably in a leadership role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift kitchen equipment

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience in a sous chef or similar culinary leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage and mentor kitchen staff effectively
  • Experience in menu planning and recipe development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations under the guidance of the Executive Chef
  • Mentor and develop culinary team members
  • Prepare a wide range of dishes from artisanal small-batch to large-scale production
  • Contribute to menu planning and recipe execution including special dietary needs
  • Adhere to safety and quality standards ensuring compliance with culinary policies
  • Promote continuous improvement in culinary practices and service quality
  • Engage with residents to deliver high-quality, satisfying dining experiences
