Job Requirements

  • Culinary arts degree or bachelor’s degree in food service, hospitality management, or related field, or high school degree/general education diploma and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of experience working in food service management, hospitality management, or related field
  • 1+ years of leadership experience leading a diverse team of food service professionals
  • Must hold Serve Safe certification at time of hire or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license
  • No suspended, revoked, surrendered, invalid driver’s license
  • No more than two moving violations or accidents in last 36 months
  • No alcohol or drug event involving vehicle operation in last 36 months
  • No unacceptable results on Motor Vehicle Report check
  • Basic computer skills including internet navigation, email usage, and word processing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service at all times
  • Assist with updates, changes, and additions to recipe file
  • Follow Exact Sciences standards for food quality, preparation, recipes, and presentation
  • Review production sheets as a planning tool for purchasing
  • Work with Executive Chef on ordering all food and supplies
  • Work with leadership to ensure best use of inventory and leftovers to achieve budgeted food cost
  • Review inventory levels and report to leadership
  • Ensure stations are stocked and set up correctly
  • Assign and complete required prep work a day in advance
  • Assist team members with prep work and cleaning responsibilities, as needed
  • Supervise and inspect all preparation and cooking equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper operation
  • Ensure food products and presentation are of highest quality and timely
  • Ensure proper rotation of all products and stock product to par level
  • Assume role of Executive Chef in their absence
  • Ensure kitchen operates in a timely way meeting quality needs
  • Keep team informed of issues and take corrective action promptly
  • Comply with sanitation and safety standards
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities including attracting, retaining, and motivating team
  • Manage and guide team effectively including delegating and assessing performance
  • Maintain excellent oral and written communication
  • Deliver excellent internal and external customer service
