Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and ensuring smooth workflow
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks and prep cooks
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards in compliance with health regulations
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs
- Develop and implement new menu items in collaboration with the culinary team
- Train and mentor kitchen staff to improve skills and ensure consistency
- Monitor food quality and consistency during service hours
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members
