Job Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months experience working in a restaurant or similar environment as a cook
- Ability to safely operate cooking equipment and utensils
- Knowledge of assisted living or dementia care
- Ability to work with seniors and cognitively impaired individuals
- Proficiency in MS Office programs
- Ability to operate office equipment including copier, telephone, postage machine, and time clock
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to adapt and prioritize tasks and projects
- Ability to read, write and speak English effectively
- Highly motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to obtain and maintain valid First Aid, CPR, and ServSafe Manager's Certificate
- Must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with approved menus
- Assist with planning, preparation, and delivery of meals
- Ensure meal quality, taste, presentation, and sanitary service
- Develop and implement culinary procedures for timely food preparation
- Control meal portions and food consistency to reduce waste
- Supervise and train culinary team members
- Maintain inventory and assist with purchasing food and supplies
- Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with staff and respond to resident concerns
- Participate in team meetings and support marketing efforts
- Maintain a safe and secure environment
- Complete required training and certifications
- Perform other duties as assigned
