Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a line cook
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
  • Compassion and respect when working with seniors
  • Willingness to follow established kitchen procedures and safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary training or experience a plus
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a line cook
  • Strong understanding of food safety practices
  • ServSafe food handlers certification a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Compassion, patience, and respect in working with seniors

Job Duties

  • Oversee and prepare meals according to established menus and chef's guidelines
  • Prepare and execute daily and weekly prep lists
  • Inform Executive Chef of needed items for future prep
  • Assist with food orders and month-end inventory
  • Collaborate with culinary team to provide meal variety and creativity
  • Stand in as leader in Executive Chef's absence
  • Follow all food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen station
  • Work as part of a supportive kitchen team
