Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years experience in a similar role
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must obtain Food Handler’s Certificate within 30 days of hire
  • Must obtain ServSafe certification within 30 days if not certified
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
  • Must be able to lead and motivate a team
  • Must be able to understand, read, write and speak English
  • Must adhere to all health and safety standards
  • Must safely utilize kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Must maintain a neat and professional appearance
  • Must apply commonsense understanding in carrying out instructions
  • Must comply in standardized situations
  • Must be available to work flexible days and shifts including holidays
  • Must be able to work without constant supervision

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise kitchen operations in absence of the Executive Chef
  • Oversee preparation and presentation of food to ensure quality
  • Organize and maintain kitchen stock and ingredients
  • Ensure food rotation system and quality assurance
  • Keep cooking stations stocked during peak hours
  • Hire and train kitchen staff according to standards
  • Manage ordering and minimize food waste
  • Maintain kitchen organization and staff training
  • Verify food storage units meet standards
