Job Requirements
- Associates Degree in Culinary Arts or technical degree in related field preferred
- 3-5 years culinary leadership experience in high volume or healthcare food service
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
- Ability to supervise and develop staff
- Food Service Manager's Certification required within 90 days of hire

- Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends focusing on quality, sanitation, production and presentation

Job Duties
- Oversee daily food production operations for Patient Food Service, Physicians Dining Room, Cafeteria and Catering
- Ensure all food is prepared, served and stored according to HACCP and regulatory agency standards
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety and sanitation
- Effectively supervise staff including hiring, counseling, coaching and development
- Document all staff records including annual evaluations and disciplinary actions
- Assist with menu development for cafeteria, physicians dining, catering events and patients
- Coordinate large catered functions
- Promote consistent, positive patient interactions that align with unparalleled patient service
- Monitor employee attendance and manage overtime using KRONOS per facility procedures
