Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years full-service experience required
- Minimum of 6 months supervisory and coaching experience required
- Ability to work some weekends and holidays
- Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures including hot kitchens, refrigerators, and freezers
- Compliance with applicable state regulations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of full-service culinary experience
- Minimum of 6 months of supervisory and coaching experience
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Supervises the scheduling, training, and discipline of all culinary and utility staff
- Oversees all culinary functions in the absence of the Executive Chef, including staffing, food production, utility management, and kitchen sanitation
- Manages daily kitchen production and food preparation to ensure timely service of resident meals
- Directs preparation and service of all menu items adhering to recipes and proper food safety, quality, dietary restrictions, and production forecasts
- Oversees the organization and sanitation of dining rooms, kitchens, storage areas, and loading docks
