Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years full-service experience required
  • Minimum of 6 months supervisory and coaching experience required
  • Ability to work some weekends and holidays
  • Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures including hot kitchens, refrigerators, and freezers
  • Compliance with applicable state regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of full-service culinary experience
  • Minimum of 6 months of supervisory and coaching experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Supervises the scheduling, training, and discipline of all culinary and utility staff
  • Oversees all culinary functions in the absence of the Executive Chef, including staffing, food production, utility management, and kitchen sanitation
  • Manages daily kitchen production and food preparation to ensure timely service of resident meals
  • Directs preparation and service of all menu items adhering to recipes and proper food safety, quality, dietary restrictions, and production forecasts
  • Oversees the organization and sanitation of dining rooms, kitchens, storage areas, and loading docks
