Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Three plus years cooking experience in a high volume food service establishment
- Experience training kitchen staff in culinary techniques or other kitchen duties
- Food Handler's Certificate or able to obtain within 14 days of hire
- First Aid and CPR certified or able to obtain within 30 days of hire
- ServSafe Certification or able to obtain as determined by community needs
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to pass DSHS and State background check
- Ability to perform duties in compliance with Universal Precautions, fire safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures

Job Duties
- Ensure food service delivery standards are met and maintained
- Complete food and supplies inventory and ordering
- Provide support for the culinary team in absence of Culinary Services Director
- Prepare and present food and meals according to planned menus, recipes, and portion control procedures
- Maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen
- Record daily temperature logs and monitor food quality
- Comply with Universal Precautions, fire safety, infection control, and sanitation procedures
