Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 4 years culinary or food service experience, or 2-year degree with 2 years relevant experience
- Strong leadership skills with ability to manage kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
- Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major
- 2 years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Experience in food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage and motivate a team
- Customer service oriented
- Skilled in culinary preparation and food presentation

Job Duties
- Accountable for overall success of daily kitchen operations
- Assist Executive Chef with all kitchen operations and preparation
- Prepare and cook foods for daily service and special functions
- Develop and create new culinary applications and decorative food displays
- Maintain purchasing, receiving and food storage standards
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and kitchen staff
- Lead shifts and personally prepare food items
- Use interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence and encourage staff
- Build mutual trust, respect and cooperation among team members
- Serve as a role model demonstrating proper behaviors
- Maintain employee productivity and ensure understanding of expectations
- Establish open, collaborative relations with employees
- Administer property policies fairly and consistently
- Communicate performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions
- Recognize and reward successful performance
- Provide customer service that exceeds expectations
- Manage daily operations ensuring quality and customer satisfaction
