Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years culinary or kitchen management experience
- strong communication and leadership skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- ServSafe certification preferred
- computer literacy including Microsoft Office
- ability to work flexible hours
- willingness to assist in client satisfaction activities
Job Qualifications
- A.S. or equivalent experience
- progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- catering experience desirable
- experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
- knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
- understanding of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
- proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
- ServSafe certification highly desirable
- willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
Job Duties
- Assist Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures
- assist Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- produce and execute catering events
- roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary teams
- supervise hourly associates
- develop daily menu items and garnishment
- work with Executive Chef to assist with ordering
