Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years culinary or kitchen management experience
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • knowledge of food safety regulations
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • computer literacy including Microsoft Office
  • ability to work flexible hours
  • willingness to assist in client satisfaction activities

Job Qualifications

  • A.S. or equivalent experience
  • progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
  • catering experience desirable
  • experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
  • knowledge of institutional and batch cooking
  • understanding of food and catering trends focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
  • proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, email, and internet
  • ServSafe certification highly desirable
  • willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs

Job Duties

  • Assist Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures
  • assist Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with marketing and culinary teams
  • supervise hourly associates
  • develop daily menu items and garnishment
  • work with Executive Chef to assist with ordering
