Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum two years experience in a restaurant or similar environment
- ServSafe certificate
- ability to comply with Eskaton's pre-employment testing including criminal background check, drug test, TB screening, and health screening
- strong communication skills
- ability to follow property policies and procedures
- capability to manage kitchen operations in executive chef's absence
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- college course or education in food service and/or management preferred
- ServSafe certificate required
- minimum two years experience in restaurant or similar environment
- knowledge of telephone etiquette
- strong interpersonal communication skills
- proficiency in typing formats, calendaring, and filing
Job Duties
- prepare food in accordance with approved menu
- adhere to property policies and procedures
- ensure compliance with standards, guidelines, and regulations
- direct overall operations of the Dining Department in the absence of the Executive Chef
- maintain quality food service at all times
- support kitchen staff training and development
- manage inventory and kitchen supplies
