Job Duties
- Foster a fun environment
- Be a gracious host to all guests and co-workers
- Promote a positive influence in the community and participate in company-sponsored events
- Ensure safety of team members by keeping areas clean and free of hazards
- Develop, maintain and manage training programs
- Oversee and direct the preparation of varied food products, emphasizing pastry creation
- Ensure compliance with food handling procedures for safety and quality
- Manage freshness by directing product rotation and proper storage
- Create and suggest innovative recipes and products
- Develop menus for catering, sales, Grab and Go, and restaurant venues
- Safely use kitchen equipment efficiently
- Assist in operating other food and beverage venues as needed
- Handle customer complaints and support customer service programs
- Implement and manage standards of excellence among team members
- Adhere to regulatory, department, and company policies and procedures
- Decide on types of products, materials, supplies or tools used
- Supervise and manage attendance and time records
- Manage departmental expenses including labor and staffing
- Oversee work processes of team members
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and provide daily positive feedback
- Administer disciplinary actions
- Protect and preserve company assets
- Comply with all bargaining unit agreements
- Attend company training programs and meetings
- Complete and submit required reports
- Maintain safety and cleanliness including meeting uniform and grooming standards
- Perform any job duty to promote productivity as requested by supervisors
