Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of relevant food and beverage experience
- Food Handler and TIPS certifications
- excellent oral and written English communication skills
- ability to create and promote a positive working environment
- capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, lift, and squat for extended periods
- willingness to travel minimally within the property and surrounding area
Job Qualifications
- At least 3 years of food and beverage experience
- thorough knowledge and understanding of restaurant operations including food and beverage, service techniques, and health and safety regulations
- ability to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
- Food Handler certification
- TIPS certification
- strong leadership and team management skills
- ability to work under pressure and perform well in stressful situations
Job Duties
- Assist in planning and executing all functions of the food and beverage department
- implement effective controls of food, beverage, and labor costs to ensure efficient operation and stay within budget limitations
- ensure compliance with all policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations
- ensure safety of team members and cleanliness of facility and equipment
- monitor the inventory of food, beverages, and supplies to ensure par requirements are met
- assist in conducting monthly inventories
- ensure the kitchen is staffed appropriately, cleaned, inventory levels are appropriate, and equipment is working properly
- comply with company and franchise standards for product preparation and presentation
- maintain a customer service mindset and provide high quality guest care
