Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of culinary experience
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Understanding of OSHA and health department regulations
  • Capacity to stand for long periods
  • Compliance with dress code and safety policies

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a sous chef or culinary role
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to lead and train kitchen staff
  • Familiarity with HACCP guidelines
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure

Job Duties

  • Provide highest quality service in accordance with ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
  • Utilize food preparation procedures compliant with federal, state and local guidelines
  • Assist Executive Chef with administrative duties including attendance and human resources
  • Monitor and review HACCP logs
  • Assemble ready-to-eat menu items following ISS/GEI core standards
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment adhering to regulatory rules
  • Support management with monthly inventory
  • Notify management of concerns regarding product quantities, food/equipment safety, or other management issues
  • Attend all daily meetings
  • Report accidents and injuries timely
  • Perform other duties as assigned
