Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous culinary experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • Must adhere to ISS/Guckenheimer uniform and dress code standards
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to HSEQ policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as a sous chef or relevant culinary role
  • Knowledge of HACCP, OSHA, and food safety standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
  • Experience with food cost management and budgeting
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in inventory management and administrative tasks

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service in accordance with ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
  • Utilize food preparation procedures according to federal, state, and local guidelines to ensure high quality food service
  • Assist Executive Chef with administrative duties including attendance, human resources, and timelines
  • Monitor and review HACCP logs
  • Assemble RTE menu items in accordance with recipes and company standards
  • Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following regulatory rules
  • Support management team with monthly inventory
  • Notify management of concerns with product quantities, food/equipment safety, or other issues
  • Attend all daily meetings
  • Report all accidents and injuries timely
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed
