Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous culinary experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP guidelines
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Ability to work Monday to Friday from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Must adhere to ISS/Guckenheimer uniform and dress code standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Commitment to HSEQ policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a sous chef or relevant culinary role
- Knowledge of HACCP, OSHA, and food safety standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
- Experience with food cost management and budgeting
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in inventory management and administrative tasks
Job Duties
- Provide the highest quality of service in accordance with ISS/Guckenheimer and client standards
- Utilize food preparation procedures according to federal, state, and local guidelines to ensure high quality food service
- Assist Executive Chef with administrative duties including attendance, human resources, and timelines
- Monitor and review HACCP logs
- Assemble RTE menu items in accordance with recipes and company standards
- Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment following regulatory rules
- Support management team with monthly inventory
- Notify management of concerns with product quantities, food/equipment safety, or other issues
- Attend all daily meetings
- Report all accidents and injuries timely
- Perform other assigned duties as needed
