Job Requirements
- Associate of science degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in culinary or kitchen management
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to supervise and lead culinary staff
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Competency in using computers and relevant software
- Flexibility to participate in client and company programs
- Certification in ServSafe highly desirable
Job Qualifications
- A.S. degree or equivalent experience
- Progressive culinary or kitchen management experience
- Catering experience preferred
- Experience in high volume, complex foodservice operations
- Knowledge of food and catering trends
- Skilled in food cost control and presentation
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and email
- ServSafe certification preferred
- Willingness to participate in client satisfaction programs
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures
- Assist the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus
- Produce and execute catering events
- Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams
- Supervise hourly culinary associates
- Ensure food quality and sanitation standards
- Assist with ordering and inventory management
