Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum 3 years of kitchen experience including leadership roles
  • knowledge of federal, state, and local food regulations
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • flexibility to work Monday to Friday 5:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • commitment to following HSEQ policies and safety procedures
  • ability to maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent experience
  • proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
  • strong knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
  • leadership and team management skills
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • familiarity with budgeting and cost control

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with administrative duties including attendance and human resources
  • oversee daily operational tasks such as recipe execution, production sheets, and food purchasing
  • monitor and review HACCP logs
  • ensure kitchen cleanliness and safety compliance
  • train and supervise kitchen staff
  • manage inventory and notify management of product or safety concerns
  • represent the company professionally in customer and client interactions
