Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum 3 years of kitchen experience including leadership roles
- knowledge of federal, state, and local food regulations
- ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- flexibility to work Monday to Friday 5:00 am to 5:00 pm
- commitment to following HSEQ policies and safety procedures
- ability to maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience
- proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
- strong knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP guidelines
- leadership and team management skills
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- excellent communication and organizational skills
- familiarity with budgeting and cost control
Job Duties
- Assist the Executive Chef with administrative duties including attendance and human resources
- oversee daily operational tasks such as recipe execution, production sheets, and food purchasing
- monitor and review HACCP logs
- ensure kitchen cleanliness and safety compliance
- train and supervise kitchen staff
- manage inventory and notify management of product or safety concerns
- represent the company professionally in customer and client interactions
