Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a sous chef or similar culinary leadership role
- Strong knowledge of diverse cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
- Ability to follow complex recipes and develop new culinary ideas
- Experience in menu planning and dietary accommodations
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred
Job Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations and mentor culinary team under Executive Chef's guidance
- Prepare a wide range of culinary dishes from artisanal to large-scale production
- Contribute to menu planning and recipe innovation catering to diverse dietary needs
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and continuous improvement standards
- Foster team development and promote a positive work environment
- Deliver high-quality customer service engaging with residents and guests ensuring satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace
