Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a sous chef or similar culinary leadership role
  • Strong knowledge of diverse cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
  • Ability to follow complex recipes and develop new culinary ideas
  • Experience in menu planning and dietary accommodations
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations and mentor culinary team under Executive Chef's guidance
  • Prepare a wide range of culinary dishes from artisanal to large-scale production
  • Contribute to menu planning and recipe innovation catering to diverse dietary needs
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and continuous improvement standards
  • Foster team development and promote a positive work environment
  • Deliver high-quality customer service engaging with residents and guests ensuring satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen workspace
