Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency required
- associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
- four years food and beverage experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- previous supervisory experience highly preferred
- ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees
- proficiency with Microsoft Suite
- must qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations
- regular physical activity including standing, walking, climbing, talking, and tasting
- occasional sitting, use of hands, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching
- occasional lifting or moving up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Support and implement company initiatives
- conduct all business activities in compliance with company policy and procedures, collective bargaining agreements, and all state and federal regulations and internal controls
- promote and maintain all steps of the company’s customer service program with each patron and employee interaction
- effectively respond to supervisor’s requests regarding customer interaction and concerns
- hold pre-shift meetings daily
- participate as part of the management team in interviewing, hiring, and promotions
- participate in budget planning and conduct business within approved budget
- supervise kitchen staff in preparation and production, assign work and break times, provide training, evaluate performance, and administer warnings as needed
- oversee preparation of all food items ensuring quality and consistency
- ensure work area and equipment maintenance in sanitary conditions
- manage payroll to reduce overtime and maintain budget
- monitor inventory levels
- expedite proper portioning, quality, and presentation
- oversee opening and closing duties for consistency
- maintain proper safety and sanitation procedures
- enforce company rules, regulations, and uniform codes
- assist in menu, special, and recipe planning
- ensure physical presence in area of supervision during core hours
- assist the Executive Chef in overall unit direction and coordination
- carry out supervisory responsibilities including employee interviewing, training, performance appraisal, discipline, complaint resolution, and problem-solving
