Job Requirements

  • One year experience in a commercial kitchen as a line cook required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Current food handling licenses as required by the state
  • Prefer culinary training
  • Prefer prior experience as a sous chef

Job Duties

  • Assisting the chef in menu planning, food preparation, inventory, documentation and scheduling
  • Preparing food in accordance with the planned menu, noting changes when applicable
  • Ensuring all cooking, serving, storage, preparation, and service areas are clean, safe and organized to meet all applicable food service standards and regulations
  • Monitoring quality food service in accordance with Legend's Gold Leaf Dining standards
  • Leading the kitchen environment in the absence of the chef
