Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of four years' progressive responsibility in a full-service restaurant, catering, healthcare, country club or hotel, or cruise line environment
  • ServeSafe Certification preferred
  • Experience in all cooking stations and methods

Job Duties

  • Oversee food preparation and cooking in all production environments
  • Direct and support day-to-day kitchen operations
  • Supervise food production and sanitation staff
  • Assist with hiring and training new kitchen staff
  • Take charge of kitchen opening, closing, and other duties as assigned by the Executive Chef
  • Participate in inventory management and development of par sheets
  • Place food and supply orders
