Job Requirements

  • ServSafe certified
  • Culinary Arts degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory kitchen experience
  • At least 3 years kitchen operations experience with lead cook and steward positions
  • Ability to work the second shift
  • Commitment to food safety and quality
  • Authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • ACF certification
  • Culinary Arts degree or apprenticeship or AOS degree
  • Minimum 2 years kitchen supervisory experience
  • At least 3 years kitchen operations experience including 1 year lead cook position and 1 year steward position
  • ServSafe certified

Job Duties

  • Observe workers engaged in preparing, portioning, and garnishing foods to ensure methods of cooking and portion sizes are as prescribed
  • give instructions to cooking personnel on fine points of cooking
  • cook and carve meats, and prepare dishes such as sauces during rush periods and for banquets and social functions
  • assume responsibility for kitchen in absence of Chef, planning, organizing, and preparing all meals
  • prep food products using standardized food preparation techniques
  • recognize condition of food and cooking temperatures
