Job Requirements

  • high school graduate or equivalent
  • bachelor’s degree in dietary or hospitality management preferred
  • certified dietary manager preferred
  • 3-5 years of management experience preferred
  • previous experience in a senior living community preferred
  • must have or obtain ServSafe certification

Job Duties

  • assist in maintaining and enforcing policies and procedures of all meals of all levels of care
  • assist in coordinating daily meal preparation adhering to quality standards, dietary standards and established time frames in junction with the dietitian and director as directed
  • assist in ensuring that all mealtime deadlines are met in all levels of care
  • responsible for making sure all tasks assigned to the cooks and stewards are completed for every shift
  • responsible for maintaining adequate and balanced food inventory
  • responsible for developing appropriate goals and action plans to meet patient expectations
  • appropriate interaction with cheerful, helpful attitude with patients and guest in dining room
