Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three to five years of relevant experience in culinary or hospitality roles
  • Ability to work variable shifts including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
  • Capacity to perform hands-on food preparation and supervision
  • Ability to live within a commutable distance to the White Plains, New York facility
  • Compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Graduate of Culinary Arts program preferred
  • Supervisory experience in hospitality industry preferred
  • Minimum of three to five years of relevant culinary experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Ability to lead and motivate culinary teams
  • Effective communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the main kitchen including retail and catering operations
  • Support Executive Chef in recipe creation and menu design
  • Train and develop culinary team members
  • Ensure proper food safety practices and sanitation standards
  • Conduct daily huddles and team meetings to facilitate communication
  • Maintain care and upkeep of kitchen facilities, supplies, and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with quality assurance, safety, environmental, and infection control standards
