Job Duties
- Hire, fire and discipline team members when appropriate
- have complete knowledge of the restaurant's food and beverage specifications
- open and close the restaurant properly after training by balancing funds and completing paperwork
- check for proper closing and opening of kitchen and dining areas
- perform positions such as server, support team, bartender and kitchen duties as needed
- interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner
- ensure total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant
- monitor guests consuming alcoholic beverages and take action if intoxication is apparent
- treat all guests to ensure complete satisfaction and strive to exceed expectations
- report to work neat and clean in uniform with well-groomed hair and personal hygiene
- relocate to new or existing locations as needed
- be punctual and reliable in fulfilling schedule and responsibilities
- understand and manage controllable costs affecting store profitability
- communicate effectively with other managers through email and logbook
- follow procedures in the manager reference binder
- handle team member performance issues properly
- coach and teach peers and team members positively
- cultivate a safe and harassment-free workplace culture
