  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • experience leading high-volume kitchens
  • strong written and verbal communication skills
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to work varying shifts including days, nights, holidays, and weekends
  • eligibility to work in the United States
  • at least 18 years of age

  • strong knowledge of cost controls

Job Duties

  • Lead the culinary department with integrity and commitment to excellence
  • inspire and empower staff to deliver exceptional service
  • support the Andretti Indoor Karting and Games motto
  • oversee daily operations including food ordering, staffing, scheduling, and cleanliness
  • ensure all banquets, buffets, and event culinary offerings meet or exceed standards
  • maintain compliance with environmental and health department regulations
  • assist in the development and training of culinary staff
  • support staff training and employee relations initiatives
  • foster and maintain high morale among culinary staff
  • participate in recruitment and retention of staff
  • assist with labor and food cost management
  • ensure site inspections meet standards
  • maintain organization and cleanliness in all food storage, kitchen, and service areas
  • collaborate with sales department for event planning
  • oversee and inventory culinary equipment
