Job Requirements

Previous experience in a Sous Chef or Lead Cook position
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Must be detail oriented
Strong people skills
Professional demeanor
Ability to follow food safety regulations and standards
High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in a Sous Chef or Lead Cook position

Job Duties

Oversight of cook staff
Preparation of foods for patrons, cafeterias and catering
Menu design and/or modifications as required, working with the Executive Chef
Responsible for maintaining high standards of quality food production and portion control, using standardized recipes
Responsible for appropriate quantities of food needed to meet menu requirements
Responsible to follow standards and methods as outlined in Policy and Procedures to promote high quality food and prevent food borne illnesses in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations
