Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Sous Chef or Lead Cook position
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Strong people skills
  • Professional demeanor
  • Ability to follow food safety regulations and standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Oversight of cook staff
  • Preparation of foods for patrons, cafeterias and catering
  • Menu design and/or modifications as required, working with the Executive Chef
  • Responsible for maintaining high standards of quality food production and portion control, using standardized recipes
  • Responsible for appropriate quantities of food needed to meet menu requirements
  • Responsible to follow standards and methods as outlined in Policy and Procedures to promote high quality food and prevent food borne illnesses in accordance with Federal, State and local regulations
