Job Requirements

  • minimum of one year of cooking experience including short order and quantity cooking
  • possession of Serv-Safe certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
  • ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

Job Duties

  • ensure efficient, timely, and friendly service to all residents and staff
  • maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures
  • prepare and present high quality food
  • order, receive, and rotate stock with the Food Service Director
  • follow recipes to ensure consistency
  • prepare and serve food items for breakfast, lunch, or dinner
  • assist with exceeding resident dining expectations
