Job Requirements

high school diploma or equivalent
2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in food service
2 to 3 years of cooking experience preferably buffet style
ability to work in all weather conditions
availability to work weekends evenings and holidays
must pass background check and drug test

Job Qualifications

2 to 3 years supervisory experience in food service
2 to 3 years cooking experience preferably in a buffet style restaurant
ability to manage kitchen staff effectively
knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
strong communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

Prepare food to the specifications of the menu
Cook and assist other cooks during the food assembly process
Handle and cook proteins (meats) based on recipes
Prepare any necessary sauces or accompaniments before service begins
Estimate expected food consumption and proper portion control
Adjust food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific dietary concerns
Assist in managing up to 11 staff in the kitchen
