Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous culinary, sous chef, and leadership experience preferred
  • Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday
  • Must be able to work the scheduled hours of 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Ability to follow approved recipes and production standards
  • Capability to maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Strong organizational and supervisory skills
  • Good communication and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous culinary and sous chef experience preferred
  • Leadership experience in foodservice environment desired
  • Ability to supervise and manage hourly food service associates
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • Ability to handle customer service situations effectively
  • Understanding of inventory management and production tracking

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards
  • Ensures all deadlines are met based on production orders
  • Supervises hourly food service associates including interviewing, scheduling, payroll, training, counseling, and participating in reviews
  • Stores food in designated areas following all corporate, state, and federal food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate serving temperatures
  • Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies, and utensils and cleans workstation thoroughly
  • Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner
  • Demonstrates complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them
  • Keeps up with peak production and service hours
  • Monitors inventory and deliveries of products and supplies
  • Tracks product production, consumption, and waste
  • Informs supervisor when supplies or products are low
  • Performs other duties as assigned
