Job Requirements

  • college or culinary school degree
  • combination of education and experience equivalent to culinary school graduation
  • three or more years experience in food and beverage or senior living hospitality
  • scratch cooking experience
  • saute and broiler experience preferred
  • ServeSafe certification preferred
  • ability to read, write and understand English
  • manual dexterity in using kitchen equipment
  • physical ability to stand, walk, bend and lift up to 50 pounds
  • ability to perform all essential functions in varying temperature ranges

Job Qualifications

  • college or culinary school degree
  • three or more years in food and beverage, country club, fine dining, restaurant or senior living hospitality experience
  • scratch cooking experience
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • sufficient manual dexterity to handle kitchen tools and equipment
  • ability to stand and work for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • assist the Executive Chef with culinary oversight
  • supervise and coordinate culinary activities for multiple dining venues
  • provide training to kitchen staff
  • ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
  • participate in menu planning and food preparation
  • manage special events and private functions
  • maintain the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
