- Ability to stand, walk or sit continuously for eight-plus hour shifts
- frequent twisting, bending, stooping, reaching, standing and walking
- ability to talk, hear, see and smile frequently
- have three or more years of progressive experience in hotel food and beverage or culinary degree with two or more years of experience
- experience in high volume catering
- proven leadership and managerial skills
- knowledge of culinary trends

- computer literacy
- willingness to work flexible schedules including varied shifts

Job Duties
- Direct and supervise food production areas
- assist in food preparation based on standardized recipes
- maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in kitchen and storage areas
- minimize waste and control food cost
- schedule and train cooking staff in proper uniform
- monitor food outlets, buffets, and food displays for quality and creativity
- collaborate with Outlet-Restaurant and Banquet Managers
- coordinate food and beverage services for conventions and group events
- oversee menu creation for staff restaurant
- promote teamwork and interdepartmental cooperation
- respond to food-related feedback and ensure proper reporting
- ensure kitchen equipment maintenance
- participate in departmental and hotel meetings
