Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum of 2 years experience in a culinary role
  • ability to work Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
  • adherence to ISS dress code and safety standards
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen management
  • knowledge of OSHA and Health Department regulations
  • ability to train and supervise staff
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • familiarity with inventory management and food cost control
  • ability to follow HACCP guidelines
  • culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide highest quality of service in accordance with ISS, utilize food preparation procedures complying with federal, state and local guidelines, assist Executive Chef with administrative duties, monitor and review HACCP logs, assemble RTE menu items following core standards, clean and sanitize work areas and equipment, support management with monthly inventory, notify management of product safety concerns, attend daily meetings, report accidents and injuries, perform additional assigned duties
