Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two to three years experience in culinary roles
- Post-secondary culinary education preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation
- Leadership skills for managing a kitchen team
- Effective communication skills
- Availability to work evenings weekends and event-based hours
Job Qualifications
- Two to three years experience in a related culinary position
- Two to three years of post-high school education preferably in culinary arts
- Advanced knowledge of food profession principles and practices
- Experience in managing people and resolving problems
- Excellent oral reading and written communication skills
- Willingness to work hands-on with staff and operations
- Availability for event-based hours including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Supervise and participate in food production preparation and presentation
- Ensure sufficient inventory maintenance and record deliveries
- Handle food products and equipment for safety and kitchen standards
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Interview schedule train and coach kitchen staff
- Resolve problems and recommend discipline as needed
- Provide open communication within the kitchen team
