Job Requirements

  • Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent culinary experience
  • Certification of completion from accredited culinary trade school or ACFEI apprenticeship program
  • National Food Handler Card upon hire
  • Minimum 1 year of culinary leadership or supervisory experience in high-volume operation
  • Experience in a customer service environment

Job Duties

  • Plan and direct food production and presentation for patients, cafés, and catering
  • Evaluate culinary operations to maintain safety and nutritional standards
  • Supervise and lead kitchen staff in a high-volume healthcare setting
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain quality control
  • Collaborate with nutritionists and healthcare professionals to meet patient dietary requirements
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and kitchen supplies to optimize efficiency
  • Support training and development of culinary team members
