Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years experience with kitchen operations and staff supervision
  • ServeSafe Management certification
  • ability to manage and motivate teams
  • strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • proficiency in communication and comprehension
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • willingness to comply with safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • post-secondary culinary training preferred
  • brand certification a plus
  • 3 to 5 years experience in kitchen operations and staff supervision
  • ServSafe Management certification
  • strong team management and delegation skills
  • ability to motivate others and resolve issues
  • effective organization and multitasking abilities
  • proficient in reading and comprehending instructions and policy documents
  • excellent communication skills

Job Duties

  • Assist in supervising the day to day activities of kitchen staff
  • assign responsibilities for specified work and set deadlines
  • promote safety and sanitation, inspect all food handling and follow HACCP procedures
  • assist with menu planning, inventory and managing of supplies
  • maintain effective cost control, service and quality standards to maximize sales and profits
  • comply with company and regulatory standards for product preparation and presentation
  • serve as a resource in resolving complex problems and issues
  • provide recommendations for hiring, firing and promotion of kitchen associates
  • maintain effective communication and positive associate relations including performance reviews and discipline
  • provide highest quality of customer service and ensure proper training of staff
