Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional kitchen experience
  • 2-3 years of cooking experience, including supervisory or lead responsibilities
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during busy service
  • Team-first mindset
  • Genuine love of cooking
  • Availability to work varied shifts including occasional evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional kitchen experience
  • 2-3 years of cooking experience, including supervisory or lead responsibilities
  • Strong leadership, communication, and time management skills
  • Ability to stay calm and focused during busy service
  • Team-first mindset, sense of humor, and genuine love of cooking
  • Experience with farm-to-table or cheesecentric cuisine is a plus
  • Conversational Spanish is valued

Job Duties

  • Support menu planning, recipe development, and event execution
  • Lead daily prep, cooking, and plating with consistency and excellence
  • Guide and motivate junior kitchen staff
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment
  • Assist with ordering, receiving, and inventory management
  • Help manage food costs through portioning and smart ingredient use
  • Step in as kitchen lead when the Executive Chef/Culinary Director is offsite
  • Collaborate across all kitchen tasks to keep operations running smoothly
