  • Choke Safety certification

Job Duties

  • Assist with menu writing and cycle of cost control utilizing appropriate recipes and costing measures
  • ensure quality of all food products and final presentation meets standards
  • support culinary team with food production, execution and presentation
  • assist with oversight of catering operations
  • maintain vendor relationships
  • inspect supplies, equipment, or work areas for conformance to standards
  • demonstrate new cooking techniques or equipment
  • communicate with supervisor about equipment purchases or repairs
  • assist purchasing and quality control of food and supplies
  • determine production schedules and staff requirements
  • maintain company standards for safety, food handling, sanitation, uniform and productivity
  • compile and record production or operational data
  • manage department controllable expenses including food costs, labor, supplies, uniforms and equipment
  • assist in budgetary process and recipe pricing
  • assist with inventory management
  • assist with culinary staff review process
  • instruct, train and supervise kitchen staff
  • provide excellent customer service
