Job Requirements
- culinary professional with leadership experience at Sous Chef level or equivalent
- strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen organization
- experience or interest in catering and event-based culinary service
- excellent communication and teamwork skills
- ability to work under pressure calmly and dependably
- flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and some daytime hours
- pride in workmanship and guest experience

Job Duties
- support the Chef in planning, prepping, and executing catered events and culinary experiences
- lead kitchen operations during events when the Chef is off-site or managing multiple services
- assist with menu development, testing, and refinement
- ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet Around the Table standards
- manage prep schedules, timelines, and service flow
- maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen environment
- assist with inventory management, ordering, and receiving
- help train and support kitchen staff and event support team members
- adapt confidently to different event formats, locations, and service styles
