Job Requirements
- Bachelors of Science degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Associates degree in Occupational Studies/Culinary Arts preferred
- Five to ten years in food service management position preferably with high volume dining and catered event planning
- Technical knowledge in Word and Excel necessary with experience in FoodPro or related system desired
- Certifications in TIPS, Food Safety and Allertrain required
- Able to accommodate schedule changes including varying start and end times and changes in days of week
- Designated as Emergency Personnel able to report to work when campus is closed for inclement weather
- Knowledge of relevant practices and procedures with 1 to 3 years applied training in a specialized occupation
- Over 1 year up to 3 years relevant experience required
Job Qualifications

- Five to ten years of experience in food service management, preferably in high volume dining and catered events
- Technical proficiency in Word and Excel
- Experience with FoodPro or similar systems desired

- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to adapt to changing schedules and operational needs
Job Duties
- Manage culinary and student staff ensuring proper food production and sanitation procedures
- Participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss operations, staffing, and events
- Communicate daily with managers, supervisors, and staff via meetings and emails
- Oversee food quality control including appearance, taste, and temperature
- Handle food purchasing, inventory, and FoodPro system responsibilities
- Coordinate staffing schedules maintaining budgeted labor expenses
- Train staff and conduct performance reviews
- Lead catering and special events from setup through cleanup
- Manage cash handling, register setup, and daily deposits
- Ensure security by unlocking and locking units during shifts and reporting issues
