Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • CPR certification
  • First Aid certification
  • knowledge of recreation equipment
  • any certification or training required by local and state agencies
  • ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds unaided and heavier objects with assistance
  • ability to perform fine motor tasks requiring hand-eye coordination
  • willingness to follow safety protocols and company policies
  • no supervisory experience required
  • no related work experience required

Job Duties

  • Serve as key resource for all recreation activities
  • provide information to guests about available recreation facilities
  • encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests to participate in activities
  • promote a fun and relaxing atmosphere
  • enforce rules and regulations for safety and welfare
  • observe activity and respond to emergencies
  • provide cashier services for point of sale transactions
  • assist with private functions and group events
  • provide assistance to injured guests until emergency services arrive
  • clean and maintain recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies
  • report accidents and unsafe conditions
  • follow company policies and maintain professional appearance
  • welcome and acknowledge guests
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • speak clearly and professionally
  • answer telephones with proper etiquette
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships
  • process payments for services and sales
  • comply with quality assurance standards
  • visually inspect equipment for defects
  • enter and locate information using computer or point of sale systems
  • perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and maneuvering in various environments
  • perform additional duties as requested
