Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in audiovisual technology, event management, information technology, communications, or related field with at least 4 years of relevant experience
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience totaling 8 years
  • Demonstrated experience in audiovisual production and event technology
  • Proven supervisory experience managing technical teams
  • Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and campus departments
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Compliance with background check requirements
  • Availability to manage diverse events and schedules

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in audiovisual technology, event management, information technology, communications, or related field
  • Extensive experience in audiovisual production and event technology
  • Proven supervisory and team management skills
  • Advanced knowledge of AV systems including Crestron, networking, and digital signal processing
  • Experience with event management software
  • Strong project management and communication skills
  • Familiarity with campus operations and collaborative partnerships
  • Industry certifications such as Crestron, CTS, or AVIXA preferred

Job Duties

  • Develop and oversee the strategic vision, planning, and execution of audio-visual, lighting, and technology systems within the MSC
  • Recruit, train, supervise, and manage full-time employees and student technicians
  • Coordinate with campus partners and departments for seamless event planning and technical support
  • Manage procurement and maintenance of sound, light, and technology equipment
  • Oversee event projects including renovations and technological upgrades
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly address client needs and concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned
