Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality preferred
  • strong wine knowledge, especially French and Italian varietals
  • formal wine education is a plus
  • exceptional guest service skills and a genuine passion for hospitality
  • high attention to detail, strong communication, and excellent time management
  • team-oriented with a proactive approach to service
  • must be available to work weekends

Job Duties

  • Collaborate closely with the front-of-house team to deliver a seamless, elevated dining experience
  • guide guests through the wine list and recommend pairings that complement the tasting menu
  • execute all aspects of wine service, including decanting, proper presentation, and ensuring optimal serving conditions
  • ensure proper glassware standards, cellar maintenance, and wine storage protocols
  • participate in monthly inventory, assist with receiving and stocking wine product (must be able to lift 40-pound boxes)
  • maintain a polished, professional appearance and uphold the hospitality and service standards of Zero George
