Job Requirements

  • Candidate must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
  • Candidate must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs
  • Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion
  • Candidate must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years in a similar position preferred
  • Ability to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
  • Ability to bend and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong knowledge of wine and beverage programs
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to conduct educational seminars and tastings

Job Duties

  • Assist beverage manager with monthly beverage inventory counts, bin storage, and cellar organization
  • Restock wine cellar by-the-glass wines and dining room wine coolers
  • Review weekly sales reports with beverage manager
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all beverage storage rooms and coolers
  • Assist beverage manager in developing staff knowledge and enthusiasm with informative pre-shift notes, seminars, and tastings
  • Follow bar program and scheduling while maintaining service standards and quality control
  • Conduct month-end inventory counts, check in the day’s deliveries, stock product
  • Conduct regular seminars and a weekly testing program as applicable
  • Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are always given professional service
  • Handle pressure and stress in a professional manner
  • Certify that all food and drinks are prepared according to restaurant standards
  • Control cash and other receipts in accordance with company’s accounting guidelines
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of entire venue in accordance with Health Department
  • Protect establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health and company sanitation standards
  • Report all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management
  • Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook
  • Anticipate and accommodate needs of guests while providing professional and exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction
