Job Requirements

  • At least one year of related education, training and/or experience
  • current State Food Handler's License and State Mixologist Permit required
  • ability to perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
  • working knowledge of the proper operation of all bar equipment
  • working knowledge and ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks
  • working knowledge of applicable liquor laws and regulations
  • working knowledge of standard cash handling procedures

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of related education, training and/or experience
  • Court of Masters Level 1 certification or above preferred
  • ability to mix and serve a wide variety of drinks
  • knowledge of proper operation of all bar equipment
  • understanding of applicable liquor laws and regulations
  • knowledge of standard cash handling procedures
  • current State Food Handler's License and State Mixologist Permit required

Job Duties

  • Advise guests on wine selections
  • provide food and wine pairing recommendations
  • conduct proper wine service
  • educate and train other staff members on wine knowledge, service standards, and sales techniques
  • conduct wine tastings, workshops, and special wine dinners for guests
  • stay informed about new wines, trends in the wine industry, and emerging producers
  • perform essential functions on the computerized Point of Sale system
