Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years in hospitality industry in a sommelier role
  • Knowledge of sake preferred but not required
  • Experience in fine dining restaurants and service
  • Ability to calculate and control beverage cost
  • Ability to communicate and work in English
  • Competency and familiarity in Microsoft Office suite and Google products
  • Professional appearance, care and grooming
  • Ability to manage people and work in a team environment
  • Provide certification of Food Handler's permit and Serve Safe certificate
  • Physical ability to bend, stretch, twist, climb and move in small spaces
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during busy times
  • Capability to lift or move up to 50 pounds without assistance

  • Develop and manage the wine and beverage program

  • Manage beverage costs and inventory control
  • Communicate effectively with team members and guests
  • Maintain professional appearance and uphold service standards
