Job Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and sales skills
  • previous experience as a Sommelier, Wine Steward or hospitality role
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • adherence to alcohol handling laws and regulations
  • interest in continuing education
  • attention to detail
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to work nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Sommelier or Wine Steward
  • strong interpersonal and sales skills
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • certification in the Court of Master Sommeliers is a plus
  • proven extensive knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits
  • interest in continuing education
  • attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Educate guests on the wine list and beverage offerings
  • curate wine pairings to complement menu items
  • manage wine inventory and storage conditions
  • maintain adherence to alcohol handling laws and regulations
  • collaborate with culinary and service teams to enhance guest experience
  • guide guests through beverage selections including spirits and cocktails
  • lead wine tastings and ongoing staff education
